Sibbaldia publishes peer-reviewed articles and short notes on the cultivation, conservation, research, botany (but not taxonomic botany), history, landscaping, legislation, management and curation of plants in botanic and other gardens.

Peer Review Process

All papers will be subject to review by at least one independent reviewer.

Reviewers are recruited based on their knowledge of or affinity with the main subjects of the article and all are known to the editors of Sibbaldia. They are asked to review for accuracy and suitability to the focus and scope of Sibbaldia. They are also asked to comment on the structure and composition of the article and to make suggestions for improvements or recommendations where relevant.

Sibbaldia is published on an annual basis

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
